Halloween: taller de decoración de Cupcakes

¡Ya está aquí Halloween! No podíamos ser menos y hemos preparado una serie de entradas dedicadas a esta divertida fiesta.

El pasado domingo visitamos la tienda Zelebra, en Majadahonda, para asistir a un Taller de decoración de cupcakes con temática Halloween. ¡Nos lo pasamos muy bien!

 

Last Sunday we visited the shop Zelebra in Majadahonda to attend a workshop:decorating cupcakes (Halloween themed).We had a great time!

La profe, Eva, es una manitas del fondant, y nos explicó muy muy bien los pasos para conseguir unas cupcakes terroríficos.

The teacher, Eva, is a handyman fondant, and explained very well the steps to get some terrifying cupcakes.

Nos dieron una bolsita con los materiales que íbamos a utilizar: palillos, pincel, cuchillo, rodillo, estecas y vasitos con agua.

We got a bag of materials we would use: sticks, brush, knife, roller, and cups with water.

 

Enseguida nos pusimos a trabajar para crear nuestros cupcakes. Eva nos enseñó como amasar el fondant, pegar los diferentes diseños, cortar, utilizar las estecas...

We set to work to create our cupcakes. Eva taught us how to knead the fondant, paste the different designs, cut, use the modeling tool ...

 

En un descansito aprovechamos los disfraces de la tienda (Zelebra es una tienda dedicada a los complementos para fiestas, disfraces, decoración y también tiene su rinconcito de tartas y cupcakes :) ) y nos hicimos una foto todas juntas para recordar el momento.

In a little rest we take advanced of the place (Zelebra is a shop dedicated to sell complements for parties, costumes, decor and also has its cake and cupcakes corner:)) and we took a picture together to remember this moment.

 El primer diseño que hicimos fueron estas maravillosas momias. Parecen difíciles pero son sencillitas(si tienes una profe como Eva, claro).

The first design we made were these wonderful mummies. Seem difficult but are easy (if you have a teacher like Eva, of course).

El segundo diseño que hicimos fue un gracioso fantasmita (¡con truco!). Nos costó un poco pero lo conseuigmos, ¿a que nos han quedado muy monstruosos? ;)

The second design we did was a funny ghost (trick!). We struggled a bit but we finally did it, aren't them scary? ;)

En la foto de abajo podéis ver los fantasmitas de todas, ¡algunas hasta les hicieron pies! 

In the photo below you can see all the ghosts, some even made ​​them feet!

 El último diseño que hicimos fue un poco más formal pero igual de bonito, es la calabaza que podéis ver más abajo. Eva nos enseñó a teñir el fondant para conseguir el color que queramos. También aprendimos cómo hacer hojitas y dibujar en el fondant. 

The last design we did was a bit more formal but equally beautiful, is the pumpkin that you can see below. Eva taught us how to color the fondant to get the color you want. We also learned how to create leaves and draw on thefondant.

Scrapbook store

Monstruitos, hoy os traemos un reportaje fotográfico de una tienda que nos encanta: Centro Artesano.

 La podéis encontrar en San Sebastián de los Reyes, muy cerquita del metro Hospital Infanta Sofía.

Little monsters, today we bring you a photo essay of a store that we love: Centro Artesano.
You can find it in San Sebastian de los Reyes, very close to the Infanta Sofia Hospital metro station.

Es una tienda de manualidades especializada en el scrapbook, patchwork, decoupage, bisutería... es decir, ¡que tiene de todo!

It's a craft store specializing in scrapbooking, patchwork, decoupage, jewelry ... ie, they have everything!

Cuando vamos allí, las monstruitas nos volvemos locas... Nos gusta sobre todo este pasillo dedicado al scrapbooking (el arte de hacer tarjetas, decorar álbumes), ¡tiene cosas muy chulas!

When we go there, the little monsters we become crazy ... We especially like this hallway dedicated to scrapbooking (the art of making cards, decorating albums), it has very cool things!

Abecedarios, pegatinas por temáticas, cintas de colores, con puntos, con corazones, de Navidad...

Alphabets, stickers by theme, colored ribbons, dotted, with hearts, Christmas ...

Además en las estanterías también encontramos ejemplos de manualidades para inspirarnos.

Also on the shelves we found examples of crafts for inspiration.

¡También tienen sección de libros y revistas! Sobre fieltro, lana, pintacaras, dibujo, encaje, costura...

They also have books and magazines section! On felt, wool, face painting, drawing, lace, sewing ...

El final de nuestro pasillo favorito lleva... ¡al maravilloso mundo de los papeles estampados! Siempre lo toqueteamos todos hasta que nos decidimos por uno (o dos o tres...).

The end of our favorite hallway leads to ...he wonderful world of printed paper! We always get our hands in everything until we settled on one (or two or three ...).

Nuestra nueva obsesión son los sellos de metacrilato, más económicos y sencillos que los de madera. Estamos comenzando una pequeña colección ;)

Our new obsession are the methacrylate stamps, cheaper and simpler than those of wood. We are starting a small collection;)

¿Os hemos contado que existe una estantería enorme llena de troqueladores? ¡Aquí tenéis una pequeña muestra! Esto son los mas grandes pero los hay más pequeños con muchas formas diferentes, es muy difícil elegir...

Do you have told that there is a huge shelf full of punchers?Here is a small sample! These are the biggest but there are smaller with many different shapes, is very difficult to choose ...

En la otra parte de la tienda (pasado la parte de scrapbooking, tintas, objetos de madera para decorar y muchas cosas más) encontramos un rinconcito especial repleto de telas con muchos diseños geniales y originales.

On the other side of the store (leaving behind scrapbooking, paint, decorate wooden objects and much more) we find a special corner filled of fabrics with many great and original designs.

Robotbombones

¿Sabeis lo que les apasiona a los monstruos?

¡EL CHOCOLATE!

Por eso hace poco se volvieron locos y empezaron a hacer bombones ricos ricos con forma de robotitos...¿No sabes hacer bombones? ¡Es facilísimo!

So, recently, they went crazy and started making chocolates, robot chocolates! Don't you know how to do chocolates?It's easy!

Tan sólo tienes que calentar chocolate para postres de Nestle, bien en una fondue o al baño maría. No olvides trocear el chocolate en láminas finitas para facilitar el proceso y...¡listo, a ponerlo en moldes divertidos! El nuestro es de la marca Silikomart.

 You only have to heat chocolate for  (that's the name in Spain) in a fondue or using double boiler. Don't forget to chop the chocolate into sheets to facilitate the process and. .. ready to put into funny molds! Our is from the brand Silikomart.

 

Después de hacer los bombones (¡ñam!) los monstruitos pensaron en cuál sería la mejor forma de presentarlos para un regalito... y después de mucho trabajar, este fue el resultado:

After making the chocolates (yum!) the monsters thought of what would be the best way to present them for a gift ... and after much work, this was the result:

¡Muy sencillo! Hacemos una cajita de papiroflexia, recortamos una ventanita para que el mundo pueda ver lo que guardamos dentro, les ponemos a los bombones un poquito de rafia a modo de colchón, adornamos con lacito de polka dots y por último, añadimos unas etiquetas de robots (creadas por la monstruita artista Sara).

Very simple! We make an origami box, we cut a window so the world can see what you keep inside,we put a bit of raffia as a mattress for the chocolates, we decorated with a polka dots bow and to finally add some robots tags (created by the monster artist Sara).
